Axis Studios is an award-winning entertainment company, founded in Glasgow in 2000 by CEO Richard Scott, in partnership with Dana Dorian, Stuart Aitken and Graham McKenna. It boasts an international team of directors, designers, artists, animators, writers and producers, working across its studios.
As well as being the largest animation studio in Scotland, it also has one of the largest CGI teams in the UK. Axis Studios is building on our track record of creating narratively compelling work in animated entertainment & VFX, to originate and deliver ground-breaking content of the highest quality that engages audiences worldwide.
Axis Studios is currently working on developing its own IP and creating ground-breaking animation and VFX content for some of the biggest names in video games, television, film, online, theme parks and more including, ‘Helping Hand’, ‘The Tall Grass’ and ‘Mason’s Rats’ for Netflix’s ‘Love, Death and Robots’, the back-to-back Magic the Gathering cinematics ‘Innistrad: Midnight Hunt’ and ‘Crimson Vow’, and the SyFy series ‘Happy’.
