Animatic - new talent development scheme

Glasgow Film Festival is excited to launch Animatic, an innovative new talent development scheme for Scottish based creatives and studios to develop their animated feature film or series ideas for an international audience.

Partnering with MySmashMedia, successful proposals will take part in a 3-month programme of workshops, designed to help them develop their project and pitching skills. The successful applicants will get a rare opportunity to not only learn from a team of experts on how to maximise their chances of success in front of one of the world’s leading studios, but also get feedback from leading industry professionals on the day about how they would fare in a real-life pitching scenario. The live pitch will take place during the Festival's Industry Focus programme, 4 – 7 March 2024, attended by festival delegates and invited guests.

Please only submit animated feature film and TV series pitches. We are particularly interested in hearing from projects that are adult animation comedies, particularly TV series, and kids TV.
