VISible Fictions

Visible Fictions, a theatre company with over 30 years of experience in creating live performances for young audiences, has expanded its storytelling into animated films to reach new audiences and explore creative possibilities.

In 2018, it partnered with Clubhouse Animations to produce Papergee and the Spider, a stop-frame animation about a displaced girl who finds friendship and a new home. Building on this success, their next project, Snip Snap, due for release in 2025, follows a young girl’s imaginative journey with her magical scissors. Visible Fictions has also co-produced Gaspard’s Fox Trot and Yoyo and the Little Awk with RSNO, performing these with live orchestras across Scotland and making them available to primary schools with educational resources.

Their upcoming project, Me, My Dad and the Monster, will explore themes of mental health within a family.
